Neogen Food and Animal Security (India) PVT, LTD. was incorporated in 1990 as the research and development wing of the Sterling Group and was initially conceived as an in-house lab facility for its own products. In 2015, the Sterling Group was acquired by Neogen Corporation (NASDAQ: NEOG), an international company that develops, manufactures and markets a diverse line of products dedicated to food and animal safety. Today, the India location of Neogen offers contract chemical and microbiological testing services to numerous Industries, trading houses, exporters, food processors, pharmaceutical companies, ayurvedic Institutions/formulators and star hotels, restaurants and resorts.
